A selkies' home
I surf on the today swell of the lunar waning
descending on minor harmonies
through churned water
splitting curds of light snagged streamers
Volume increases as the surge changes
it carries me out, on tumbled beam-glimmer
as I listen to shell-echo melody:
the muted symphony that swells
tossed motion to cacophony.
Here is dark, where fathoms are forged
pulling the moon with ragged breath
dims luminous energy.
The hammock swell, balanced
between rise and drop that
shifts and turns, the riotous wave
a watery dwelling.
